What do you dislike the most about DDM?

For me it is overpowering minis always going to LG.

That They Value Skirmish over RPGers and make long stupid previews about skirmish to show less minis. Not
enough classic monsters are made.

Number two would be ALL the wasted templated humanoids or monsters they redo every set like a Kobold Monk, Goblin Blackblade ( ALL The WD Minis WERE Black in color...).

The choice of rare slots is often VERY questonnable...

The things I hate most about the skirmish game would be
1. Not enough viable pieces in each set. I see no reason why most pieces can't be costed to be at least moderately viable. A more diverse meta seems like it would actually boost sales, as many skirmishers buy only the pieces they need to compete.

2. Lines. Why do they have to make it so complicated. What would be so difficult about "Trace a line from one corner of your sqare to one corner of a square 12 squares away. The line must pass through the closest target." Simple enough that no one would ever need to write an article on it anyway.

As far as sets in general go, the abundance of undesireable pieces really rankles. I find it hard to buy boosters when I don't even want one of most of the commons. As Sir Bozak said, we need more classic monsters please!!

As far as the Meta Game goes, I get very annoyed when people dismiss pieces as unviable simply because one of the "Big Dogs"(tm) did. This mentality turns most warband building discussions into "you should sub in x for y" with x being whatever someone else said was the best. It's a lot of fun to go on vassal and trounce someone's tier 1 band with some mezzoloths that everyone says suck.

I have looked as the Skirmish forums on some Sites and It Looks Like Schoolchildren Arguing About Whose Father Is The Strongest.

I Think I Avoid Skirmish To Stay Sane....Hmm...Forget That,I Am Already Insane...

I know what you mean, that bugs me too.

One of the things that currently bugs me about DDM is the dragons, the large dragons in particular. I liked the day when they were titans. I thought they felt more like powerful, scary dragons the way the Large Red and Large Silver played. I don't think its all bad having them costed around 50 points, as it is perhaps better for sealed format. Still, I think they would be much more fun to play if costed around 80-90 points, and were able to pull 80-90 points of weight in a warband.

I love DDM. It's getting better and better. What I still don't like is :

- paintjobs not always good, especially on rares. Some common's faces are better than some rares'. Go figure...

- Not enough tiny minis (OK, I know. My personal pet peeve :) )

- Some too specific minis (tsucora what ???). At least give us minis we can proxy to something more classic.

- and the fact that I'm not sure I'll ever complete sets 1-4

Then them same rules get changed or edited.
