What do you dislike most about D&D RPG?

Besides being swamped by crappy source books, I do not like how they are not clear enought in spell and other descriptions.

Hmmm dislike about D+D... not being able to find more local players. The cost of the books is a bit much too...(Especially the Black & White 64 page paperbacks that are $23 + tax)

Cost in relation to quality for sure. Also, I'm not fond of the videogame-ishness of some of the stuff, but that's easier to ignore than the inconsistencies and horrible editing that shouldn't be present in $30-40 books.

Hmm, let's try to avoid edition wars...

- The power creep/instant gratification/videogame-likeness of 3E.
- Combat, far too tactical and wargamy now.
- Too much room for metagaming.
- And too many odd class/races combos.

Powergaming Is Fun !!! I Hate The Few "Stackable" Bonuses In 3.5
And The Fact You Have 10 Fingers And Can Only Wear Two Rings... That's Just Silly...

I felt the same way when I was then {C. Now that I have been DMing for about 17 or so years, I see why the rule has been implanted.

I dislike the powergaming style in 3.5
What happened to the days of fun battles against goblins and the such you gain too much power in 3.5 to fast.
Local players are hard to find and also why hardcover modules....bad WOTC bad!

-I just totally hate that wizards have so few feats that can be used.
-also sad to see too that people just keep playing elfs, or CG characters (I know Sir Bozar, I am playing one right now but that was to change my ways).
-That there is absolutely (or aven't found yet) weather dice, or usable temperature chart, just plain stupid that its always sunny like if we would play The Sims.
-Sword can't pierce lol!

Hmm, what I DON'T like about the D&D RPG? A relatively low amount of things, but here they are:

1) Standard races being too fitted for specific roles and if you try and oppose said roles, you can only gain a slight amount that is usually not available to certain classes while a significant amount of the time also losing a more than your fair share of potency of what that class usually provides/specializes in. (except humans and in some cases, elves) I want my Dwarf Sorcerer, darn it!

2) The point Kilsek made about a lack of coherency in spell descriptors. Polymorph, anyone?

3) The fact that there is relatively little in the way of "natural" items for druids besides weapons and armor. I could be wrong on this last point, but I don't own any books that would really help druids much and am oblivious to any books that might.
