Another nice repaint pinky...the second pic is a bit out of focus but the mini looks sweet. Have you considered basing your repaints?

I've thought about it, but since they're mostly for my own amusement I don't worry about it.

Besides, I have weird basing issues. I can (visually) accept the black (or paint spattered) base in just about eny envrionment. But seeing a grassy base in a dessert, dungeon or town would just irritate me.

I know it looks better, but man it does sometimes drive me crazy.

It's like the Sorcerer on Black Dragon. It's easier for me to have the Huge Black Dragon and imagine the Sorcerer than to have the Sorcerer on Black Dragon and imagine that he's not there.

The scheme was a bit tough to get together. This was done for an Uncommon Painting Challenge on Hordelings (or was it still maxminis at the time?), and I'd been hitting a wall for quite some time.

Then I heard about Norwegian Rats, which got me to a "Viking" Wererat, and that led me to this. I'm not saying that the wererat is particularly viking-esque, but it's how I ended up there.
